Out of Sight, Out of Mine

Freed from three hundred years of imprisonment, the hecatoncheires seized and held control of Copperbell Mines, until Eorzea’s adventurers put an end to their revolt. Amajina & Sons Mineral Concern resumed operations almost immediately, dispatching engineers into the deepest shafts. However, in a not altogether surprising development, the engineers have gone missing, and another band of hecatoncheires is believed to be responsible.

Bosses

Hecatoncheir Mastermind

During the battle with Hecatoncheir Mastermind, he will use Darkfire approximately every 45 to 60 seconds. This attack will cover a section of the platform with fire, forcing players to move further down the bridge. As soon as Hecatoncheir uses Darkfire, a Flambeau, which is a type of bomb monster, will spawn. The Flambeau will try to move towards the fire, so it is crucial to kill it quickly. If the Flambeau reaches the burning ground, it will explode and kill all players. Alternatively, if it is left alone, it will self-destruct and wipe out the entire party. If necessary, use stuns to immobilize the bomb. It is important to ensure that the Flambeau does not touch the burning ground cast by the boss. Remember to kill the Flambeau as soon as possible, as its explosion will instantly kill everyone in the party.

Gogmagolem and Biggy

In the boss room, there is a spriggan named Gogmagolem who operates a rock giant. This boss has high defense and moves back and forth. To damage the boss, one of your party members should use the Improved Blasting Device to spawn a Waymaker Bomb and then pick it up. When the bomb is about to explode, place it in the path of the Gogmagolem. Additionally, black bombs will spawn near the Blasting Device and the center of the room, so quickly move away from them as they will self-destruct. The other DPS should focus on killing the Kindling Sprites that appear around the edges of the room. The Gogmagolem will occasionally use an attack called Plaincracker. Once the Gogmagolem is defeated, another spriggan named Biggy will spawn. It is important to kill Biggy and stay away from the large bombs that will explode in a wide radius. To summarize, one DPS should spawn bombs and drop them in the path of the Gogmagolem, while the other DPS focuses on killing adds. When Biggy spawns, focus on defeating him.

Ouranos

Non-tank players should avoid standing in front of the boss to prevent getting hit by its circular AoE attacks. They should also focus on killing the Giga adds when they appear, as these adds target random players and cannot be forced to target the tank. Additionally, players need to be aware of the appearance of a Sand Worm. When the text "The abyss worm is searching for fodder" appears, one player should grab the Crystallized Rock, which can be found around the edges of the arena, and place it in the sand. It is important for other players to move away from the rock to avoid taking damage from the Sand Worm. If the rock is not placed in time, the Sand Worm will cast Bottomless Desert, pulling all players to the center of the room and dealing heavy damage. This can lead to a wipe, so it is crucial to assign someone to be responsible for placing the rock. In summary, the boss should be burned down quickly, and when the Sand Worm is searching for fodder, a player should carry the Crystallized Rock onto the sand and drop it to distract the worm.
